As a project assistant, you support project managers and teams in the planning, implementation and monitoring of projects. You will be responsible for organizing meetings, preparing documents and documenting project results. Your tasks may also include controlling budgets and schedules as well as communicating with various stakeholders.
For a career in project assistance, a completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in business, project management or a related discipline is usually an advantage. Practical experience, e.g. through internships or working student activities, is also helpful.
As a project assistant, you have the opportunity to work in various sectors, e.g. construction, IT or marketing. As you gain experience, you can develop into a project manager and take on more responsibility. There are also opportunities for further training or specialization in specific areas.
