It offers a comprehensive network of assistance and services for all areas of life, from early childhood to old age.
In the area of "Growing Up and Learning", the Lebenshilfe supports children and young people through inclusive daycare centers, an interdisciplinary early intervention center, school preparatory facilities, curative education day care centers, as well as school support and integration assistance. The Familienzentrum KiM is an open meeting place for all families and children, regardless of whether they attend the Lebenshilfe facilities.
The "Living and Dwelling" area includes offers such as communal living, outpatient assisted living, day structure offers for seniors, short-term and respite care, as well as open help and a family support service. Leisure and educational offers round off the spectrum.
Under the motto "Educating and Working", the Lebenshilfe offers workshops, a vocational training area, inclusive work offers, certificate courses and support facilities. Inclusive work offers include animatec, WestWerk, Café Karl and the CAP-Markt. The aim is to integrate people with disabilities into the labor market and to enable them to have meaningful employment. The Lebenshilfe also supports in the search for a job in the general labor market.
