Internationales Familienzentrum gGmbH

The Internationales Familienzentrum (IFZ) in Frankfurt am Main is one of the oldest institutions in Germany dedicated to the social, educational, and psychosocial care as well as the education of people with and without a migration background. For nearly 50 years, the IFZ has been working as a non-profit organization in various districts of Frankfurt and Offenbach.

• Child Day Care: The IFZ offers eight daycare centers and the specialized service for child day care to care for around 740 children.
• Support for Education: Outpatient, semi-residential, and residential youth assistance at several locations.
• Youth, School, and Career: Offers for school care and all-day care at Frankfurt schools.
• Adults and Families: Counseling, support, and meeting offers in central facilities such as the Gusti-Gebhardt-Haus and the Psychosocial Center.

The mission of the IFZ is to support and integrate people of all ages and backgrounds. It places great importance on intercultural and integrative work to promote an inclusive society.

The IFZ is committed to long-term social and educational projects aimed at sustainability and continuous support. Through its non-profit structure and close collaboration with local communities, the IFZ contributes to strengthening the social infrastructure.

The IFZ transformed into a foundation in 2023 to secure and further expand its work in the long term. With about 550 employees, it provides comprehensive support in the areas of education, counseling, and psychosocial care.
