After a successful citizens' initiative that collected 15,754 signatures, the theater was able to continue. Today, FELD works with a core group of established artists and remains open to new developments. The theater recently received the Theater Prize of the Federal Government 2024 in the category "Independent Production Houses," highlighting its significance and quality[1][3][4].
