• Principles & Standards: It develops principles, quality standards, and framework recommendations to promote cross-provider coordination and person-centered design of the rehabilitation process.
• Training and Continuing Education: The BAR offers cross-provider training and continuing education to support cooperation and coordination.
• Public Relations: It informs the public about issues of rehabilitation and inclusion through various media such as newsletters and expert discussions.

The main mission of the BAR is to promote the participation of people with disabilities and to coordinate collaboration among rehabilitation providers. Important values include the promotion of inclusion, strengthening participation, and the continuous development of rehabilitation.

The BAR places great importance on continuous development and research in the field of rehabilitation. It initiates research projects and uses the results to improve rehabilitation.
