Serving as a central hub for approximately 60 civil society organizations working in development policy, migration, environmental protection, and human rights, the organization strengthens civil society engagement and connects diverse actors. The campus at Am Sudhaus 2, officially opened in 2021, provides modern offices and event spaces. The building itself is a model for sustainable urban development, constructed to KFW-40 standards with ecological materials. Berlin Global Village significantly contributes to public discourse on global justice and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, funded by the BMZ and the State of Berlin.
