About UWS Germany
editUWS Germany is a dedicated fundraising organization and part of the global UWS network. The organization is committed to ensuring that children in remote and marginalized communities have access to high-quality, inclusive education in order to combat educational poverty.
UWS Germany works with local partners, communities and governments in countries such as Kambodscha, Nepal, Myanmar and Madagaskar. Schools are built, teachers are trained and education systems are strengthened. The goal is to build capacity instead of creating dependencies to ensure that education systems continue to exist and thrive even after UWS's involvement.
The organization focuses on long-term change by not only shaping the future, but also actively helping to shape it. UWS Germany has been the official contact of UWS in Germany since 2024 and is involved in organizing fundraising campaigns, especially in schools, in order to promote important partnerships and improve educational opportunities for children worldwide.
