About Learning Lions
learninglions.org is a non-profit organization established in 2015 in Turkana County, Northern Kenya. Its core mission is to empower young adults in marginalized rural communities across East Africa with IT and design education, enabling them to become digital creatives and access digital opportunities. The organization offers a comprehensive 1-year digital training program and operates Digital Lions, the world’s first Fair Trade verified digital outsourcing agency. It also runs the solar-powered Startup Lions ICT Campus, designed by Francis Kéré. The German entity is based in Geltendorf.
