The main attractions of Dialoghaus include the experiential exhibitions "Dialogue in the Dark" and "Dialogue in Silence." In "Dialogue in the Dark," visitors are guided by blind or visually impaired guides through various everyday scenarios in complete darkness to experience life from the perspective of a blind person. "Dialogue in Silence," on the other hand, offers an immersive experience in complete silence, led by deaf guides who introduce visitors to the culture and communication style of the deaf community. These experiences promote a deep understanding and empathy for people with disabilities.

The mission of Dialoghaus is to overcome exclusion and reduce fears of contact. The organization aims to provoke thought and promote more inclusion and empathy for blind, deaf, and elderly people. The vision is to bridge the gaps between different groups in society and provide a platform for dialogue and understanding. Dialoghaus Hamburg places great importance on social sustainability. It employs around 60 staff members, 60 percent of whom are deaf or visually impaired.
