
Berliner Tafel e. V. is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing surplus food and distributing it to people in need across Berlin. Its mission is implemented through three primary programs: Berliner Tafel Klassik, LAIB und SEELE, and Kimba Kinder erleben Lebensmittel. The organization strongly commits to sustainability by preventing food waste and operating a sustainable exchange shop. With over 1,700 registered volunteers for the Klassik program alone, it demonstrates massive volunteer engagement and high transparency in its operations.
