About Anne Frank Zentrum e. V.

The Anne Frank Zentrum e. V. is the German partner organization of the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam and is dedicated to the memory of Anne Frank and her world-famous diary. In the heart of Berlin, at Hackescher Markt, the center offers the exhibition "All About Anne," a significant learning place for the history of National Socialism. This exhibition is accessible to both individual visitors and groups and is complemented by a variety of educational offerings aimed at school classes, youth groups, and adults.

The mission of the Anne Frank Zentrum is to keep the story of Anne Frank alive and to raise awareness of the dangers of anti-Semitism and discrimination. Through exhibitions and educational offerings, the center promotes engagement for freedom, equality, and democracy. It creates spaces where children and young people can engage with the past and connect it to their present lives in order to take on social responsibility.

A central component of the center's work is the traveling exhibitions that are realized nationwide. These exhibitions, based on the concept of peer education, enable the creation of a special cultural offering in various regions of Germany. In addition, the center is committed to educational work through the development of learning materials and the implementation of projects and training that deal with topics such as anti-Semitism and memorial culture.

The Anne Frank Zentrum is also actively committed to sustainability by providing digital offerings that facilitate access to educational content and reduce the ecological footprint. The digital live tours and additional offerings make it possible to experience the story of Anne Frank beyond the physical boundaries of the exhibitions.

With the Anne Frank Day, a nationwide action day in schools, the center strengthens engagement against anti-Semitism and racism and promotes a democratic society. These initiatives help to keep the memory of Anne Frank alive and to anchor the values of freedom and equality in society.

The Anne Frank Zentrum e. V. invites you to become part of its circle of friends and to support the work of the center through regular contributions. Donations help to ensure that the story of Anne Frank does not fade from memory and to promote engagement for a democratic future.
