
ZUFF e.V. is a non-profit organization founded in Berlin in 1983, providing refuge apartments for women* in emergency and violent situations. The organization offers temporary, anonymous, and protected housing with 31 places for women* with and without children. The team provides multilingual support and counseling in Arabic, German, English, French, and Turkish. ZUFF e.V. embraces an intersectional approach, explicitly includes trans* women, and has offered a pet-friendly apartment since 2022. Annually, around 400 inquiries are handled, and 70% of residents successfully transition into their own apartments after their stay.
