Founded in 1995, it represents the interests of its approximately 150 member organizations to political bodies. The organization advocates for a just global order, particularly the eradication of global poverty and inequality, the realization of human rights, and the preservation of natural livelihoods. VENRO is active in key areas such as human rights in the economy, climate change, global learning, and humanitarian aid, providing its members with a platform for influence and knowledge exchange.
