Siemens Stiftung
As a non-profit foundation, we are committed with over 50 employees to sustainable social development. We focus on three areas: Secured Basic Supply, Connected Societies, and Climate & Sustainability. We actively shape the necessary transformations that these challenges demand. Together with partners from the fields of education, social entrepreneurship, and art & culture, we strengthen collaborative learning as well as locally anchored and sustainable structures. Our projects and networks focus on Africa, Europe, and Latin America.
The Siemens Stiftung based in Munich, Berlin, Erlangen, and Santiago de Chile was founded in 2008 by Siemens AG as an independent and non-profit organization. Since then, we have been implementing international projects that contribute to sustainable social development. In our three areas of work: Education, Social Entrepreneurship, and Art & Culture, we are working on perspectives and solutions for Secured Basic Supply, Connected Societies, and Climate & Sustainability. Operatively and in partnership on-site as well as in cross-country and cross-sector alliances. Our partners include actors from civil society, government institutions, business, research, education, and cultural institutions, as well as organizations involved in development cooperation worldwide.
