Lebenshilfe Freising e.V. – Promotion and Inclusion

The Lebenshilfe Freising e.V. is a dedicated association that has been supporting people with disabilities in the Freising region since 1968. With over 30 facilities in the district, more than 600 full-time and volunteer employees support more than 1,200 people with disabilities through life.

Offers and Services

Early Intervention and Education: Lebenshilfe Freising offers early intervention centers, kindergartens, after-school care centers and schools for children with and without disabilities. Educational offers range from elementary to vocational school.
Living and Working: Various housing models are available for adults, from outpatient support to inpatient facilities. The Isar-Sempt-Werkstätten offer over 400 jobs in areas such as assembly, packaging, textile department and metal processing.
Leisure and Counseling: Lebenshilfe also offers a wide range of leisure activities and counseling services for people with disabilities and their families.

Lebenshilfe Freising is committed to an inclusive society in which people with and without disabilities can live as equals. It promotes self-determination and participation in all areas of life. The values Demokratie, Vielfalt and Inklusion form the foundation of the organization.

Sustainability and Initiatives

Lebenshilfe Freising is continuously involved in projects for social integration. A current example is the inclusive Kooperationsprojekt with the Staatstheater Augsburg, in which theater is made accessible to everyone. The Umbenennung der Integrationsprojekt Freising in Inklusionsbetriebe Freising also underlines the commitment to sustainable and comprehensive inclusion.

Together with the local community, Lebenshilfe Freising is working to use donations and funding to continue to maintain its diverse offerings at a high level and to offer people a high quality of life.
