
KENFO, the Fund for the Financing of Nuclear Waste Disposal, is a public-law foundation established by German law on June 16, 2017, with its headquarters in Berlin. Its core mission is to ensure the financing of the interim and final storage of radioactive waste from commercial electricity production in Germany. Managing approximately 24.1 billion EUR, KENFO is Germany's largest public endowment. Its investment strategy is long-term, broadly diversified, and integrates ESG criteria to support the climate goals of the Paris Agreement. KENFO is also certified as an "Attractive Employer".
