Founded in 1997 as H-TEC Hydrogen Energy Systems, Quest One has been a subsidiary of MAN Energy Solutions and Volkswagen since 2021. The company combines decades of experience in electrolysis technology with the extensive expertise of its shareholders in the realization of large projects in heavy industry and automotive production.
Quest One employs around 550 people at three locations: The production and development of the electrolysis stacks takes place in Hamburg, while the electrolyzers are manufactured in Augsburg. Another location is near Houston, Texas, USA.
Key Products and Services
