Grüne Berlin

Grün Berlin GmbH is a state-owned company with a non-profit orientation, responsible since 1996 for the development and maintenance of public infrastructure and open spaces in Berlin. As a subsidiary of the State of Berlin, with the Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and Environment as its political affiliation, Grün Berlin has successfully implemented a variety of public service and urban development projects.

Grün Berlin operates and manages around 800 hectares of public open spaces and more than 100 buildings in Berlin. The main tasks include project development, project and construction management, facility and property management, as well as the organization and implementation of participation processes. In addition, the company is responsible for environmental education at various locations in Berlin.
