    About Council of Korean Americans

The Council of Korean Americans (CKA) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the voice and influence of the Korean-American community in the United States. CKA sees itself as a driving force that wants to shape an inclusive American society with equal opportunities for all.

CKA pursues the goal of developing a vibrant Korean-American community that actively contributes to shaping an inclusive American society in which everyone has the same opportunities to thrive. To achieve this, CKA focuses on four core priorities: amplifying the voice of Korean-American leaders in the media and politics, promoting communication and collaboration between Korean-American leaders from various sectors and regions, strengthening the Korean-American identity across generations, and training and promoting leaders at all levels.

CKA offers various initiatives and programs, including the NetKAL Fellowship and Emerging Leaders Programmes, to promote the next generation of leaders. The organization regularly hosts events to connect the community and discuss important issues. CKA also actively works to highlight the contributions of Korean-Americans in art, culture, entertainment and sports and to promote dialogue between different communities.

CKA is committed to uniting and empowering the Korean-American community to raise their voice, build bridges and actively contribute to solving problems in their community and the world. The organization is committed to diversity, equality and inclusion and works to raise awareness of important issues such as the "Model Minority" myth, US-Korea relations and mental health in the Asian-American community.
