editDie Christliche Flüchtlingshilfe Egelsbach/Erzhausen gGmbH (CFEE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the comprehensive care and support of refugees. Supported by local church communities, the Caritasverband Offenbach and the Dekanat Dreieich-Rodgau, the CFEE offers a wide range of assistance to enable refugees to arrive and integrate into society.
The core tasks of the CFEE include the socio-educational support of refugee families and individuals. This includes support in the asylum procedure, processing of refugee experiences, language lessons, help with job search and the promotion of children and young people in school and training. The CFEE offers orientation in the living environment, supports with questions about social, asylum and residence law and arranges contacts to lawyers. Support in the health sector and in the search for accommodation are also part of the service spectrum.
A particular concern is the promotion of social participation and the overcoming of isolation. The CFEE supports refugees to act emancipatory and independently and to participate in social life. Through offers such as the women's café, leisure activities and homework assistance, the CFEE creates spaces for encounter, exchange and support.
The CFEE attaches importance to a high degree of tolerance and flexibility in dealing with the different cultures and life situations of the refugees. The organization strives to create a climate of respect and appreciation in which everyone feels welcome.
The CFEE relies on the support of volunteers and donations to fulfill its diverse tasks. Committed helpers are active in various areas, for example as homework helpers or in the translation of texts. The CFEE is a member of Diakonie Hessen and is involved in the local network "#EgelsbachIstMehr".
