The Karl and Veronica Carstens-Stiftung, established in 1981, is a non-profit and independent foundation dedicated to advancing "Integrative Medicine as the Medicine of the Future." It achieves this by funding scientific studies and projects in naturopathy and complementary medicine at universities and non-profit research institutions. The foundation's goal is to scientifically investigate and evaluate complementary medical procedures to improve public health. Since its inception, it has provided over 40 million Euros for science and research across more than 300 projects, significantly contributing to the scientific understanding of these medical approaches.
