Founded in 2011, it enables citizen-led energy production and actively contributes to climate protection. BENG plans, finances, builds, and operates renewable energy projects, primarily photovoltaic systems and wind parks, in Munich and its surrounding districts. With over 2,000 members and more than 50 realized photovoltaic projects, BENG is a key player in decentralized and sustainable energy supply.
