About Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht
editThe Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) is a political party that advocates for reason and justice in Germany. The party sees itself as an important factor in German politics, taking the interests of the people seriously and wanting to achieve noticeable improvements.
The BSW is committed to fighting social injustice and advocates citizen-oriented politics and diplomacy instead of confrontation and warmongering. The party strives for a policy that focuses on the common good and improves the living conditions of citizens.
In Thuringia, five central demands guide the actions of the BSW: peace at home and abroad, better education for all children, an efficient state and a future in rural areas, social justice and medical care, and economic reason and affordable energy.
The BSW Thuringia is committed to more citizen participation and control and calls for a 100-day test bench for new regulations and ordinances. In the field of education, the party aims to make Thuringia the first federal state in which children can safely read, write and do arithmetic again when they leave elementary school.
In order to strengthen rural areas, the BSW is calling for a master plan for the future and prospects in the countryside, as well as more local self-government. In the area of social justice, the party is campaigning against further privatization of clinics and care facilities and is calling for local medical care.
The BSW wants to massively strengthen the industrial base and the middle class and is calling for a future fund that sustainably supports the industrial base, science, culture, infrastructure and the innovative middle class. The party is committed to unbureaucratic procedures, reliable political decisions and freedom from regulatory hurdles.
