About SOAL e.V.
editSOAL e.V. is a politically and denominationally independent, alternative welfare association in Hamburg, which has existed since 1985. As a social and alternative association, SOAL represents the interests of its member institutions and advocates for strong and inclusive child and youth services that focus on the rights of children and young people with and without disabilities.
SOAL e.V. offers its members comprehensive specialist advice, dedicated advocacy and public relations. The association promotes the regular exchange of specialist knowledge and information and offers further training in the areas of pedagogy, organization, personal development and communication, which are also open to non-members. Another offer is the SOAL Quality Development Procedure (SOAL QE). In the area of Kita administration, member institutions and non-members can make use of paid services.
SOAL e.V. is committed to ensuring that the services of child and youth welfare and the work of the specialists in the facilities are sufficiently valued, adequately paid and publicly recognized. The association takes a clear position on current social issues and is committed to an inclusive society.
SOAL e.V. also offers room rentals for events and operates a job exchange for the social sector. Any start-up project, institution or initiative in the social sector can become a member, regardless of the legal form. Individuals can become supporting members.
