Senior Product Manager/Product Lead (m/f/d)
About Freshflow
€72 billion worth of fresh food is wasted every year in European grocery retail. Freshflow is building the AI Operating System for the Fresh Food Supply Chain — starting with ordering and inventory optimization for fresh produce departments.
We work with some of the largest retailers in Germany and France — EDEKA, REWE, Carrefour, Intermarché, and E.Leclerc — reducing waste by ~24% while improving on-shelf availability. We're growing revenues 400% year-over-year, backed by World Fund and Capnamic, and just getting started.
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to take charge of all things product at Freshflow and execute on our vision of building an AI-powered supply chain for ultra-fresh products.
🤝🏽 Responsibilities
Develop the multi-year vision, strategy and roadmap for Freshflow's current retailer-focused and future solutions for fresh product departments. In the short-term and the long-term.
Create high quality product and feature specifications, manage their implementation, timeline and delivery together with our team of developers
Have a deep understanding of retailer's current processes, software systems, user's needs on the shop floor and the competitive landscape — drive new features and design choices through that lens
Build the processes and structure to collaborate effectively across all teams: gathering product insights from Customer Success, managing implementation through Tech, etc.
Frequently travel to our stores, understand user's pain points and desires, as well as large enterprise C-levels, and convert that into concrete features
In short, you get to completely take ownership over Freshflow's product and work closely with the founder & CEO.
🥷🏽 Skills and Qualifications
There is no need to check all the boxes to apply! We are looking for a motivated, curious individuals eager to learn. Here are the skills and qualities that make you an excellent candidate:
Must-have requirements — assessed at first call:
Agentic AI prototyping and coding tool fluency (Cursor, Claude Code, AI-design tools) — this is an explicit hard expectation, not a nice-to-have
2+ years of B2B SaaS Product Management experience
Fluent in both German and English (German at least fluent, not necessarily native; French is a plus)
2+ years of experience in Product Management in a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment
Retail experience is a bonus, but not a must!
Extremely familiar with (agentic) AI prototyping and coding tools: Cursor, Claude Code and AI-design tool
Proven success working with complex “real-world” operations on user-side, ideally in the retail sector or with AI-driven products.
Experience with user-groups that are not technophile
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally (with sales, customer success, tech) and externally (with senior client stakeholders).
A customer-first mindset with a passion for helping users succeed and a bias for action and experimentation.
Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Fluency in English and German; French is a plus
