Einführung
Join EVIG as a Scientist in Residence focusing on Plant-based Innovation, where you will help transform the global food system by co-founding a new venture dedicated to creating nutritious and sustainable plant-based food products.
Aufgaben
- Define a clear focus area within the Plant-based Innovation space
- Set the scope, strategy, and execution plan for a new venture
- Co-found a company centered around plant-based food systems
- Work on plant-based foods and meat analogues
- Develop functional ingredients for specialized products
- Innovate in molecular farming, novel formulations, and processing methods
- Utilize machine learning platforms and computational biology for product development
- Engage with a diverse group of professionals to foster innovation
Voraussetzungen
- Ph.D in science, engineering or related field with commercial work experience, or Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of commercial work experience
- Technical expertise in food technology, process engineering, chemical engineering, food product commercialization, computational biology, or machine learning
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and experience translating technologies into commercial opportunities
- Experience in managing or supervising teams is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Residing in Europe, preferably Berlin, or willing to relocate
