Your research focus is directed to the area of business process management., You investigate the analytical part of BPM based on event data – commonly referred to as process mining., You develop methods, techniques, algorithms that help organizations to improve their processes based on insights yielded from their data – you make “the data speak.”, We deal with the topic of business process automation, i.e., how organizations can automate process activities for increased efficiency, which is gaining increased attention in the course of digitalization., You will be developing innovative frameworks, methods, and tools for supporting business processes., You will, for example, support our efforts in creating a prediction approach for business processes usable for fraud detection or optimized logistics planning., You will focus on contributing to the industry and research projects of our chair., You will present and publish your work at national and international conferences and in scientific journals., You will provide appropriate support with chair-related teaching (conception and implementation) and administrative duties.
