    The Zweckverband Kommunale Dienste Oberland is a corporation under public law that sees itself as a service provider for 161 cities and municipalities in the Bavarian Oberland.     The core services of the association include municipal traffic monitoring, both in stationary and moving traffic, as well as receivables management. In the area of traffic monitoring, the focus is on increasing traffic safety and reducing traffic noise. Targeted controls are intended to promote compliance with speed limits and ensure that rescue routes and disabled parking spaces are kept clear. Receivables management includes the collection of fines as well as municipal taxes and levies in order to ensure a stable revenue situation for the member municipalities.

    Another important area of responsibility is the central procurement office (ZBS), which supports municipalities in national and Europe-wide award procedures. The ZBS accompanies the entire tendering process and provides advice to the municipalities.
