Welcome Werkstatt

• Sustainable Transport: The TrudeTrailer project, a self-developed and built bicycle trailer, serves for the sustainable transport of materials. The trailer is stable, lightweight, and can carry up to 150 kg, contributing to the reduction of the CO2 footprint[5].
• Repair Cafés and Workshops: Through regular Repair Cafés and workshops, sustainability in society is promoted by repairing and reusing items instead of replacing them[2][3].

• Voluntary Organization: The Welcome Werkstatt is organized exclusively by its members on a voluntary basis and thrives on their commitment. Rent and other costs are covered by membership fees[3].
• Support from Foundations: The association is supported, among others, by the BürgerStiftung and the Sankt-Sophien-Gemeinde[1].
