Wasteless Hero is a company founded in 2013 by Anke as a blog and Instagram channel. In 2019, during her pregnancy with her second son, Anke opened an online shop to offer sustainable and meaningful products. To this day, Wasteless Hero remains a one-woman show, driven by Anke's passion and commitment[3].

The online shop of Wasteless Hero offers a variety of sustainable and plastic-free products, including washable panty liners, vegan dental floss made from corn fiber, safety razors, soaps, and solid shampoos. All products must meet strict criteria: they must be plastic-free, vegan, and minimally packaged. The selection of products is made after careful research with the goal that they can be used long-term and not thrown away after a single use[3][4].

The main mission of Wasteless Hero is to make sustainable living cool and accessible. Anke wants to show how selfish and positive living sustainably can be. The goal is to make sustainability possible for everyone and to be transparent about where the products come from, who produces them, and what exactly is in them. Anke began sharing experiences and tips for sustainable living on her blog and Instagram channel in 2013 to make life easier for others.
