About VISION KINO

VISION KINO is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the film and media literacy of children and young people. Supported by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media, the Film Funding Agency, and the Stiftung Deutsche Kinemathek, VISION KINO is committed to inspiring and educating young people through the world of film.

Among the main activities of VISION KINO is the organization of the SchulKinoWochen, a nationwide project that offers students the opportunity to experience and discuss films in cinemas. This offering is complemented by extensive teaching materials that help teachers integrate films as educational tools in the classroom. The film education portal "filmisch.online" also offers interactive learning modules and courses on film analysis.
