Together for Future

Together for Future e.V. is a non-profit organization, founded on April 10, 2019, in Berlin, inspired by the will for change and the positive energy of Fridays for Future. The organization is dedicated to shaping a better climate future and strengthening social alliances.

The main mission of Together for Future is to organize majorities for a real 1.5-degree policy and to bring the demand for climate protection to the general public. The organization advocates for climate justice, social justice, and environmental protection. The values of the organization are based on collaboration, mutual exchange, and the strengthening of civil society forces.

• For Future Alliance: A growing network of over 50 federal and 300 local groups advocating for a real 1.5-degree policy. This alliance enables joint action, monthly alliance meetings, thematic networking events, and joint campaigns[2].

• Climate Strike Alliance: An NGO alliance that has called for the global climate strike every year since 2019, bringing hundreds of thousands of people to the streets to exert pressure on politics[2].

• Swarm For Future: A network that connects activists in all electoral districts to become politically more effective. It includes climate crisis talks with politicians and mobilization against fossil subsidies[2].

• Day of Climate Democracy: The largest digital climate dialogue of the year, where citizens, associations, and initiatives engage live with politicians to discuss climate issues[1].

• Talking About the Future: A climate communication project that strengthens and further connects local climate protection through success stories[1].

Together for Future is intensively committed to sustainability and climate protection. Here are some of the key initiatives:

• Mobilization for Climate Elections: The organization mobilizes nearly 200 associations and organizations for the climate strike before the federal elections, demanding the 1.5-degree target[1].

• Ending Fossil Subsidies: Through the swarm network, activists collected 87,000 signatures against fossil subsidies and conducted over 200 climate crisis talks with politicians[2].

• Digital Climate Dialogues: The organization organizes the Day of Climate Democracy, where hundreds of citizens and associations discuss live with politicians to clarify climate issues[1].

Together for Future e.V. is a central actor in the German climate movement, making a significant contribution to achieving a climate-just future through networking, mobilization, and concrete actions.
