Think Tank 30 Deutschland | Club of Rome

The Think Tank 30 Deutschland (tt30) is an interdisciplinary network of young people around 30, founded on the Day of German Unity in 2004 in Hamburg. As an independent group, we actively contribute to societal debates and formulate recommendations for long-term policy.

Our main mission is to contribute critical impulses to societal issues and inspire people for a global and long-term perspective. We are part of the German Society Club of Rome and regularly exchange ideas with this global network. Our values include a critical, responsible, and liberal attitude that enables us to provide a multifaceted observation of current society and its problems.

• Interdisciplinary Working Groups: We work in four different working groups on current societal issues. These groups deal with discussions on future responsibility, sustainability, and democracy.
• Research and Consulting: Our members, who come from various academic backgrounds and professional fields, contribute through well-founded research and consulting. This includes the creation of socio-political texts, the execution of artistic and satirical actions, as well as the organization of congresses and discussion rounds.
• International Networking: As part of the global network of youth organizations of the Club of Rome, we strive for international networking to jointly address global challenges.

Sustainability is our priority. Our work focuses on topics such as:

• Future Responsibility: We discuss and develop strategies to shape a sustainable future.
• Sustainable Development: Our members are engaged in various areas, such as sustainable urban development, focusing on African cities, and the transformation of the public sector in Germany.
• International Cooperation: Through our networking with international organizations and events, we contribute to global solutions for sustainable development.

Our members are young people with diverse academic backgrounds and professional fields, including economics, politics, science, development cooperation, service providers, art, and culture. They work voluntarily and bring their expertise into our interdisciplinary working groups. Regular events and conferences provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and the formulation of recommendations for long-term policy.

The Think Tank 30 Deutschland is a dynamic and interdisciplinary forum committed to a sustainable and future-oriented society. Through our critical impulses, our research, and our international networking, we actively contribute to societal debates and responsibly shape the future.
