Mission and Values
editThe Stiftung SPI is actively engaged in solving social problems, both nationally and internationally. Its mission includes the further development of theory and practice in social work, the training and continuing education of social work practitioners, research, and the promotion of international understanding. Sustainability Goals and Initiatives
editThe Stiftung SPI is committed to sustainable outcomes and is certified according to EN ISO 9001:2015. It operates project-related service points, such as municipal conflict management, and publishes policy papers that promote preventive social policy and poverty prevention. An example of this is the policy paper "Perspectives for Child and Youth Policy in the Investing Welfare State," which was created in cooperation with the economic research company Prognos[2].
Additionally, the Stiftung SPI promotes the participation of young people in democratic processes through initiatives such as the Federal Competence Center for Child and Youth Participation and the U16/18 Children and Youth Election Project. These projects strengthen the participation and engagement of young people and improve the quality and sustainability of measures[3].
Current Initiatives
