The Stiftung Kinder forschen, formerly known as "Haus der kleinen Forscher", is a non-profit organization based in Berlin. It is the largest educational initiative in Germany that focuses on promoting mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, technology (MINT) and education for sustainable development (BNE) in daycare centers, elementary schools and after-school care centers[1][3]. Since its founding in 2006, it has supported educators in fostering the spirit of discovery in children between the ages of three and ten[1][3].

The foundation's goal is to actively and sustainably empower children to shape their future. It relies on an extensive training program for pedagogical professionals to enable them to support children in their research[1]. More than 37,500 daycare centers, after-school care centers and elementary schools are part of the initiative, and almost 6,200 institutions have already received certification as "Häuser, in denen Kinder forschen"[5]. The foundation has supported approximately 92,000 training participants to date[5].
