The Stiftung Genshagen is a place of European encounter. The focus of its work is, alongside the German-French and German-Polish relations, the Weimar Triangle. The foundation aims to strengthen Europe in its cultural diversity, political capacity for action, social coherence, and economic dynamism. It works at the interface between culture and politics and organizes in the areas of art and cultural mediation in Europe and European Dialogue – thinking politically about Europe conferences, seminars, workshops, residencies, and youth projects. Encounter, exchange of experiences, controversial discussion, and networking for both the younger generation and experts from culture, politics, science, and business are at the center of its projects. Located away from but still within reach of the capital Berlin, the foundation offers an ideal setting for constructive dialogue and relaxed conversations in the castle and park. Different perspectives are brought together, and new development paths for the European project are outlined.
