editThe Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft (sdw) gGmbH, founded in 1994 on the initiative of the Federal Association of German Employers' Associations (BDA) and the then President of Employers Prof. Dr. Klaus Murmann, is one of the largest and most influential educational institutions in Germany. Based in Berlin, sdw is committed to promoting high-performing and socially engaged students, doctoral candidates, pupils, and disadvantaged youth.
