The non-profit Sarah Wiener Stiftung lives the dream that every child eats well – from a young age and regardless of social background. Since 2007, we have been supporting children with our free educational offerings to grow into balanced and responsible eaters, cooks, and consumers. The core of the foundation's work is practical nutrition education – in the kitchen, on the farm, and in the supermarket.

Our initiative Ich kann kochen! inspires preschool and elementary school children, with the support of educational professionals and teachers, to cook and enjoy a balanced diet. More than 24,000 educators and over 10 percent of all preschools and elementary schools in Germany are already part of our network. Over 200 organic farm trips organized by the foundation allow children to experience the origin of our food and the interplay between the environment and nutrition every year. We also regularly test creatively new formats, locations, and partnerships in nutrition education. Numerous digital learning offerings are firmly part of the foundation's repertoire and support our target groups in interactive and individual further education.
