RET Germany

RET Germany e.V. is an independent, non-profit association founded in 2015 in Germany and based in Berlin. As the European headquarters of RET, the organization collaborates with financial support from European governments, the European Commission, and other international partners.

RET Germany focuses on humanitarian aid, peace promotion, and development assistance in crisis, conflict, and fragile contexts worldwide. The organization implements various programs aimed at strengthening the independence and resilience of youth and women. These include:

• Educational Programs: RET supports the training of educators and the construction, renovation, and equipping of over 1,600 schools and women's centers[3][5].
• Economic Self-Determination: Initiatives for income generation and economic empowerment, such as the project for distributing trout fry in Hermel, Lebanon, to promote agricultural production[2][5].

The mission of RET Germany is to strengthen the independence and resilience of youth and women in crisis and conflict regions. The organization strives to bridge the gap between humanitarian aid and development assistance through its work and to integrate a peace dimension into its interventions, referred to as the Humanitarian – Development – Peace (HDP) Triple Nexus[5].

RET Germany is committed to sustainable development and pursues multidimensional approaches to achieve long-term results. These include:
