The Klinikum Passau is a leading central hospital in Eastern Bavaria and the second-largest employer in the city and district of Passau. With around 2,400 employees, it offers comprehensive medical care in 19 specialist departments. The outstanding facilities include a Heart Center, an Oncological Center, a supra-regional Trauma Center, a certified Endoprosthetics Center, a certified Vascular Center and a certified Nutrition Clinic.

• Inpatient and outpatient care: Approximately 31,000 patients are treated as inpatients and 41,000 as outpatients each year.

The Klinikum Passau is preparing for the start of the MedizinCampus Niederbayern, which will begin in the winter semester of 2024/2025 in cooperation with the Universität Regensburg. From the winter semester of 2027/2028, the first students will complete the clinical part of their studies at the Klinikum Passau [1][3].
