Über ProArbeit kAöR

ProArbeit kAöR is an institution of the Osterholz district dedicated to promoting employment. Its main goal is to support citizens receiving Bürgergeld (citizen's income) in integrating into the labor market. This is done through individual counseling, qualification measures, training, and the promotion of application activities.

ProArbeit kAöR has a broad network of regional employers and actively supports job searching. It offers assistance in creating application documents and supports the search for suitable jobs. In certain cases, financial support for employers can also be granted in the form of integration grants, or individual qualifications can be offered to optimally prepare Bürgergeld recipients for new jobs.

An important component of the work of ProArbeit kAöR is the creation of cooperation plans. These written agreements between the job placement officers and the Bürgergeld recipients define goals and steps for integration into the labor market. Compliance with these plans is of great importance.

Under the label "OHZ Power", ProArbeit kAöR, in cooperation with the business development agency of the Osterholz district, offers monthly lectures, seminars, and workshops on current topics. The goal is to increase the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (KMU) in the Osterholz district. The offers are aimed at start-ups, self-employed people, managing directors and senior employees of KMU.

ProArbeit kAöR also operates the "Musterhaus zum Wohnen mit Zukunft" (Model House for Living with a Future). This project serves as a point of contact for interested parties and offers expert advice on age-appropriate and barrier-free living. Events and consultations in the model house aim to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and to relieve relatives and caregivers.
