About Privater Kindergarten Ahe e.V.

The Privater Kindergarten Ahe e.V. in Bergheim-Ahe, founded in 1973 as a parent initiative, offers loving and development-promoting care for children aged 2 to 6 years. As a "Plus-Kita", the facility places particular emphasis on considering the individual social and cultural backgrounds of each child and their family.

The kindergarten's pedagogical profile aims to educate children to become independent, socially competent and communicative personalities. This is achieved through everyday integrated language and communication support, healthy nutrition (sugar-free morning) and active participation of the children. The kindergarten also offers additional preparation for school, joint excursions and early detection of reading and spelling difficulties (BISC).

The team of the Privater Kindergarten Ahe e.V. wants to give the children "roots and wings" on their life path. Each child is considered unique and valuable. The facility strives for a cooperative partnership with the parents, including counseling sessions, home visits and development discussions.

The kindergarten has two group rooms that are equipped to suit the age. The group room of the "Eisbären" (Polar Bears) is specially tailored to the needs of the youngest children, with an integrated changing area. The group room of the "Eulen" (Owls) offers plenty of space for painting, playing and crafting. A gym serves as a common room for activities such as singing, dancing, yoga and parent evenings and is converted into a cafeteria at lunchtime, where the children receive a freshly prepared lunch. Hygiene is a top priority, with child-friendly washrooms and a carefully cleaned changing area.

The kindergarten offers a diverse program with regular appointments and excursions, including a parent café, visits to the Flughafen Köln Bonn (Cologne Bonn Airport) and the Gleisner Mühlenhof.
