editThe netzwerk n e.V. is a registered non-profit association that has been committed to promoting sustainability and climate protection at universities since its founding in December 2010 as part of the UN Decade "Education for Sustainable Development." Founded by young actors such as Hannes Bever, Robin Koerth, Verena Salomon, and Mandy Singer-Brodowski, the association has developed into a central networking platform for students, doctoral candidates, and young professionals.
Mission and Values
editOur mission is to transform universities into learning institutions that participatively question the causes of current and future societal and ecological phenomena and develop sustainable solutions. We understand sustainable universities as institutions that actively shape transformation processes to consider and weigh the consequences for current and future generations[4].
Our code of conduct serves as a binding foundation for our work and collaboration by formulating values and attitudes that guide our decisions and actions[4].
