As a spin-off of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), Nature Robots was founded in January 2022 in Osnabrück. The company develops autonomous robotic solutions that work in harmony with nature and people to make agriculture more sustainable and efficient.

editAt the center of Nature Robots' product development is the autonomous robot Lero, which is specifically designed for long-term monitoring in regenerative agriculture. Lero creates high-resolution three-dimensional plant maps of vegetables, other crops, and weeds. This data is integrated into a user-friendly monitoring interface for agronomists, farmers, and plant breeders. Nature Robots' advanced AI and robotics systems are capable of being used in natural and unstructured environments such as vegetable cultivation, fruit growing, viticulture, as well as in agroforestry, forestry, photovoltaics, and agrivoltaics. Customers benefit from a reduction in workload and an increase in the productivity of the agricultural system.
