editThe Nationale MINT Forum is the central voice of STEM education in Germany. Since its founding in 2012, the forum has been committed to promoting mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology (STEM) along the entire education chain. In a time characterized by technological innovations and challenges such as digitalization, STEM education is essential for individual personal development and active participation in the societal discourse on national and global challenges.
Key Products and Services
editThe Nationale MINT Forum unites over 30 dedicated institutions, including foundations, business associations, and scientific institutions, to bring the importance of STEM education into the public spotlight. It develops educational policy recommendations, establishes common quality standards, and promotes exchange with decision-makers from politics, science, business, and society. An annual highlight is the National STEM Summit, which serves as a platform for dialogue and the further development of STEM education.

Since 2023, the forum has been a member of the EU STEM Coalition to network and exchange ideas with further partners at the international level. Current Developments
editWith its membership in the EU STEM Coalition, the Nationale MINT Forum has expanded its international networking efforts. Co-chairs Indra Hadeler and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Carsten Busch bring extensive experience and a strong network to the work of the forum. Together with the members of the forum, they are working to identify further points of action for political measures and to promote dialogue to improve STEM education.
