Founded in 2003 by Prof. Dr. Margrit Kennedy and her colleagues as part of Lebensgarten e.V. in Steyerberg, Monneta was re-established in 2013 by Margrit Kennedy and Kathrin Latsch as a non-profit GmbH. After the death of Margrit Kennedy, her daughter and Kathrin Latsch, the managing partner, continue the work[5].
