MOIN BIO Backwaren GmbH, founded in 1995 by master baker Hans-Paul Mattke, is a leading manufacturer of high-quality organic baked goods based in Glückstadt, Schleswig-Holstein. With a dedicated team of 80 employees, the company produces a diverse range of savory and sweet pastries, including croissants, rolls, bread specialties, and snacks. These are made from laminated and long-fermented doughs and are available both nationally and across Europe.

MOIN offers around 50 different products, which are continuously expanded. The range includes puff pastry and Danish pastry doughs, convenience doughs for further processing, as well as pre-cooked and partially baked goods. The products are deep-frozen and are delivered to organic bakeries, the organic wholesale and retail trade, as well as to gastronomy and catering companies. Particularly noteworthy is the vegan range, which meets the growing needs of customers.

The mission of MOIN is to nourish people not only physically but also spiritually. Organic is the foundation of all the company's activities. MOIN relies on 100% ecological ingredients and completely refrains from flavors, colorings, additives, palm oil, and technical enzymes. The company has been a Bioland partner since 1998 and is actively committed to fair value chains, as demonstrated by its collaboration with the chocolate supplier fairafric. A 1820 m² solar system on the roof of the production facility underscores the commitment to renewable energies. Additionally, MOIN has been assessed according to the criteria of the common good economy to maximize its contribution to societal well-being.
