MeinGrundeinkommen
Mein Grundeinkommen e.V. makes the idea of Unconditional Basic Income practically experienceable. To do this, we break with the conventions of political campaigning and rethink all aspects of work.
Through crowdfunding, we raise money and regularly raffle it as a one-year Unconditional Basic Income among our over 2 million users. More than 1,000 of them have been able to try out the basic income since 2014. With the experiences of our winners, we advance the public and political debate about Unconditional Basic Income.
In August 2020, we, together with the German Institute for Economic Research, initiated the first scientific pilot project on Unconditional Basic Income in Germany. The long-term study examines the effects of an Unconditional Basic Income on our society and thus provides important foundational research.
The change in thinking that is needed for a basic income society is already lived by us today in our collaboration as a team. We have abolished the classic hierarchy with bosses and instead introduced Holacracy, a model of self-organization. We are convinced that the potential of each individual can thus have the greatest impact.
Mein Grundeinkommen is committed to ensuring that applicants are assessed fairly regardless of religion, skin color, gender identity, age, national origin or descent, refugee background, neurodiversity, disability, marital status, parenthood, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and HIV status. We offer an inclusive workplace and look forward to applications from diverse personalities.
