Liquid Democracy

Liquid Democracy e.V. is a non-profit association dedicated to promoting democratic governance through the use of modern internet technologies. Founded with the aim of overcoming rigid democratic structures, the association works on the development and implementation of innovative solutions for citizen participation and political engagement.

A central product of Liquid Democracy is the software Adhocracy, a non-profit and open platform that enables the facilitation of democratic participation processes on the internet. Adhocracy supports collective idea generation, opinion formation, and binding decisions, particularly in collaboration with partner organizations. The software is available under an Open Source license (AGPL) and offers modular templates for various participation procedures that can be easily and quickly set up[1][5].
