The Last Generation Austria is a movement committed to mass, peaceful civil resistance to the escalating climate catastrophe and the political inaction of the Austrian government.

Our mission is to draw attention to the urgent need for comprehensive climate action through non-violent resistance and to mobilize political decision-makers to act. We are advocates of democracy and advocate for the preservation of fundamental and human rights. Our values include transparency, efficiency, and commitment to democratic principles. We are politically independent and see climate action as a struggle for survival that affects us all.

Our main objective is to prevent the total collapse of the Earth due to global warming.We rely on scientific findings and call for the immediate implementation of the recommendations of the Climate Council and the observance of the agreed climate targets.Through various actions, such as protests, lectures and workshops, we raise public awareness of the climate crisis and mobilize people to act.

Many of our activists face high fines and criminal prosecution for their participation in protests. To support these people, we collect donations that are used to cover repression costs, such as fines and legal costs. Our donation platforms allow you to contribute with various payment methods such as credit or debit card, PayPal or SEPA direct debit.

Our legal team, in cooperation with the association "Rückendeckung für eine Aktive Zivilgesellschaft" (RAZ), provides comprehensive legal and emotional support for the participants of our protests. RAZ supports peaceful resistance and the preservation of fundamental and human rights and handles a large number of civil, criminal and administrative law proceedings.

We offer various online and offline offers, such as lectures, trainings and community calls, to inform and mobilize people. These offers include protest trainings, info evenings and workshops that allow participants to get closer to the movement and the topics of climate catastrophe and civil disobedience.
